Why are all MOLARÁ hair accessories lined with satin or silk?

  • The answer is simple... because we love our edges! :) Our edges are the most fragile part of our hair, and they should be treated like gold! You can probably tell that we're absolutely enthralled with African wax print (aka Ankara or wax print), however, it's made out of 100% cotton. Given that satin and silk are softer to the touch, we choose to eat our cake and have it by showing beautiful Ankara fabrics on the outside and silk/satin fabrics on the inside. 

What is Ankara?

  • Ankara prints is a 100% cotton fabric with vibrant patterns. It is usually a colorful cloth and is primarily associated with Africa because of its tribal-like patterns and motifs.

Can I return my order?

  • We absolutely want you to love every single MOLARÁ purchase that you make. Please write to us if there's any problem with your order. However, given that we're a small brand, we don't have the bandwidth to process returns.
